Each product's value is determined by its performance across five key criteria areas, with three achievement levels per area. Products meeting multiple criteria levels are considered multi-attribute and contribute significantly to the project's score.

Calculating Multi-Attribute Adjusted Values

The formula for calculating the multi-attribute adjusted value of a product category is as follows:

• Product category adjusted value for LEED = 100 * (Sum of (Product A MAS * Product A value) + (Product B MAS * Product B value) + ...)
• This total value is then divided by the sum of all product values in the category.

A product category adjusted value exceeding 100% earns 1 point, with a maximum of 5 points possible for achieving this across 5 different product categories.
