The global standard for digital connectivity in commercial buildings. ISG advises trophy Class A offices from RFP through tenant fit-out across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and India.
WiredScore is the global certification system for the digital connectivity of buildings. Founded in 2013 in New York with the backing of then-Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the standard now sits behind the connectivity infrastructure of trophy office assets across North America, EMEA and APAC. ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai, KAFD's premium towers in Riyadh, JLL's global headquarters, Goldman Sachs offices and Google offices all carry WiredScore. In the Gulf, it has become the assumed standard for any new Class A office.
ISG advises Gulf, Indian and UK developers on the connectivity stack that WiredScore actually rewards. Our work begins early — typically at RFP, when the telecoms strategy is still negotiable — and continues through design coordination, riser sizing, ISP path diversity, in-building cellular DAS, and tenant fit-out documentation. We hold WiredScore Accredited Professional credentials and run the assessment alongside the design team, not in parallel to it.
WiredScore Office assesses six categories: resilience, choice, capacity, wireless coverage, smart-ready infrastructure and tenant experience. Within those, the assessor scrutinises ISP redundancy, dual-path riser conduits to every floor, in-building cellular distributed antenna systems, public WiFi provision, fault tolerance, dark fibre routing, mobile coverage strength, and the BMS connectivity readiness needed to support a credible smart-building stack later.
The certification has five tiers: Certified, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum Pioneer. Platinum is the working ceiling for most trophy Class A office in the region. Platinum Pioneer is reserved for projects that exceed Platinum on innovation. WiredScore also runs WiredScore Home for premium residential and serviced apartments — a smaller scheme but one we increasingly see paired with WELL on luxury residential towers.
Crucially, WiredScore is not SmartScore. WiredScore answers is the building well-connected? SmartScore, run by the same body, answers does the building operate intelligently? The two pair naturally on flagship assets but are scoped, evidenced and submitted separately. ISG manages both where the brief calls for it; for projects pursuing only one, WiredScore is almost always the right starting point because connectivity infrastructure is harder to retrofit than smart-building software.
From telecoms RFP through Platinum submission, ISG delivers WiredScore for trophy office and premium residential across the Middle East, India and the UK.
